Too beautiful to miss!
Monday March 2nd, 10:00 a.m.
Between Colchester Village & Oxley
A special thanks to Ann Ducharme, for the invite to her lovely property. With the trees tapped for maple syrup this beautiful wooded landscaped ravine will remind you of a fairy land.
We also wish to thank Ann for graciously opening her home to us. You will be able to warm up, and use her washroom. For those who are unable to take the cold you may paint in her dining room.
(Note: give yourself time this is a 35 to 45 min drive from Windsor.)
267 county rd 50 Harrow ON
EAST of Colchester Village, WEST of Oxley on the South or Lake side of the road.
Do not use your GPS, or internet maps to find this location, you will get lost. I have bypassed the mistakes Google makes and have provided a link. Please use the link below.

Photo of the property in the summer. Click on image to see larger size. Pretend there is no green!
Enter by the west drive way seen below. The drive can be slippery and parking can be tricky, as space is limited. Do not stop on the incline before the house, or you may not get up the hill. Exit via the East drive as there is a hill to the west that blocks the view of oncoming traffic.

SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO BRING
(Tailor this list to suit your needs.)
For your personal comfort:
It’s getting cold dress warmer! We don’t want you getting frostbite.
Warm wind proof coat
Snow pants if you have them
Hand and toe warmers. Canadian Tire carries these and they are well worth the price, especially the toe warmers.
Snack & Water
For the sake of art:
Plein Air easel
Plein air pochade box
Plein Air umbrella (or look for shade which may not be available.)
Paint and drawing supplies of your choice
Your drawing supplies can be as little as a pencil, pad and sharpener or as elaborate as a full french easel box of oils and canvases. If you are just starting out, we suggest starting small.
I’m open to suggestions for other cold or rain friendly locations where there is painting potential. Keep in mind that we can not schedule private property.
We are looking forward to seeing you MONDAY!
