Paint Out Malden Park
EAST side Malden Road entrance
This is the side where the ponds are located.
Monday April 6th, 2014.
Suggested time is: 10 am until ?
Please note: because I’m caring for a baby bird I may not get there at 10:00. I will not be able to stay long. The feedings are every 1 1/2 hours apart. So please, watch out for each other!
We are hoping the weather will be nice, but dress warmly.
There are many picnic tables and benches available.
The Malden Park Visitor Centre has washrooms, but I’m not sure if they are open yet. However, Tim Hortons is one block away on Huron Church.
THINGS TO CONSIDER and WHAT TO BRING
NOTE: There are ticks here, but if you stay out of tall grasses you should be safe.
The weather is still unpredictable, so you may need earmuffs, gloves. Still bring a hat with a brim so the sun does not hurt your view. This time of year I use a baseball cap. Dress in layers.
Other things to consider. A folding chair, cushion or yoga mat if you wish to sit on the ground.
Your drawing supplies can be as little as a pencil, pad and sharpener or as elaborate as a full french easel box of oils and canvases. If you are just starting out, we suggest starting small.
