Meet between 9:00 & 10:00 a.m. painting at McKee park, Windsor
Weather: Should be record breaking WARM!
Weather website: http://www.timeanddate.com/weather/canada/windsor/hourly
It’s still might be chilly, but not so chilly that you need leggings. Dress in layers so if you get overheated you can cool off.
McKee Park offers views of the bridge, beach scene, geese and an interesting building in bad repair.
At the foot of Chewitt Street between Russell Street and the Detroit River. McKee Park represents the City’s first effort to provide public access to the river for local boaters.
At this time of year the ice is flowing in the Detroit River, and it should be very interesting. You will also be able to see the Ambassador Bridge and man made islands that give refuge for the sturgeon to spawn. Dress in layers. You don’t need paint, you can start out with a sketch pad. Don’t forget to bring your camera.
Here is a another map:
We are looking forward to seeing you Monday.
